In August, MARTINEX welcomed a delegation of 15 dermatologists and plastic surgeons from Iraq. For the third consecutive year, guests from the Middle East have visited Russia at the company’s invitation.
The central part of the visit was a scientific and practical program at International Academy of Aesthetic Medicine by Dr. Mikhaylova.. As usual, the training began with a theoretical session, after which the participants moved on to live master classes. This format allowed them not only to learn about MARTINEX’s latest protocols and developments, but also to discuss practical issues, exchange experience, and ask Russian specialists questions directly.
Special attention was paid to Hyalrepair® bioreparants and the possibilities of modern bioreparation: from “in-office” protocols for wrinkle correction to the prevention of age-related changes without pronounced post-procedure marks. The doctors from Iraq were also introduced to techniques for correcting fat herniation and localized fat deposits in the face and neck area, protocols for treating dry and chapped lips, as well as lip rejuvenation using bioreparants.
“In Iraq, botulinum therapy and fillers remain popular aesthetic procedures, but more and more attention is now being paid to biostimulators and improving skin quality. We were very interested in learning about MARTINEX’s approach, which is aimed not only at visual correction, but also at influencing the physiological processes of aging — what happens to the skin — in order to address the underlying problem rather than simply mask it,” the Iraqi specialists noted.
The scientific program included combination protocols and proprietary techniques, including hydrolifting and the “point” biorevitalization technique for prolonged hydration and lifting using Hyaluform® Boosters.
Another important section focused on the Hyaluform® filler range. The doctors discussed the possibilities of working with different areas and levels of the facial soft tissues, as well as the use of various correction techniques. The guests were shown the Full Face comprehensive approach — harmonious correction of the cheekbones, facial contour, chin, jawline angles, temporal area, and middle third of the face.
The topic of lip correction generated great interest among the international doctors, including the Russian lips concept, which is well known in Iraq. They were able to evaluate it in practice.
This training format allowed the participants to see not individual procedures, but a comprehensive approach to aesthetic correction, focusing on skin quality, harmonization of facial proportions, and an individualized protocol selection for each patient.
The program of the Iraqi delegation’s visit also included a visit to the Laboratory TOSCANE in Chernogolovka city, a Russian company specializing in the production of medical devices and cosmetic products for professional use in aesthetic medicine. The guests were able to see the production process from the inside, learn about the organization of processes, and explore the company’s approaches to product quality and safety.
The cultural program also left a strong impression on the international specialists. The doctors visited iconic sites in Moscow and St. Petersburg and learned about the history and architecture of Russia’s two capitals.
“We fell in love with Moscow and St. Petersburg. The weather was wonderful, and the people were very friendly and welcoming. The cozy streets, beautiful buildings, and unique atmosphere made a strong impression on us, and we already want to return to Russia,” the guests from the Middle East said.
MARTINEX thanks its colleagues from Iraq for their trust, openness, and interest in Russian aesthetic medicine and looks forward to new meetings in Russia.
