MARTINEX at the Congress "Plastic, Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetology"

A large-scale Summer Congress "Plastic, Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetology" was held in St. Petersburg from 1 to 3 June 2025. The forum brought together more than 3,500 specialists from Russia and 10 foreign countries. The congress included scientific and educational sections dedicated to key issues of the industry.

In addition, an open meeting of the working group on the development of the production of medicines and medical devices for the provision of assistance and diagnostics in the field of plastic surgery was held during the congress. The event was chaired by Natalia Manturova, MD, Honored Physician of the Russian Federation, Chief Freelance Plastic Surgeon at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Department of Health.

Natalia Mikhaylova, PhD, dermatovenerologist, Scientific director of Laboratory THOSCANE, spoke at this meeting with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. She spoke about the need for state support for Russian manufacturers in the field of aesthetic medicine. This will help reduce import dependence and create conditions for the formation of technological sovereignty. Natalia Mikhaylova's other initiative is to include internationally recognized Russian innovations in educational and scientific programs. In some cases, they are not only not inferior, but even surpass their international counterparts.
